happenings.

i think i do take for granted how great soCal weather really is. was deciding on a weekend trip to seattle just yesterday and i checked wunderground.com -- 11degC! sanfran was a mere 5+ degC warmer. LA was at 31 degC.

:) been a great week. looking forward to Mraz next wkend, soccer tmw morning, and perhaps tennis the coming week. Bought my tickets to Sao Paulo, so what's left will be the visa and accomm. :) just felt that i have to go visit S.America this winter, else there might not be any chance of me stepping foot on samba soil.

and there's registration next wk too! by grace, everything will be smooth, just like it has been thus far. the paths i've taken, on hindsight, have all been for my benefit. wow. time-transcending indeed, Jesus.

so i spent the whole of this morning at the DMV--got my plates replaced, took the theory tests for class C and class M1. Finally got all of these admin behind me : ) a fine left to pay, claims to send back home, and mmr compliance certification to submit again.

the late afternoon out with jizeng was refreshing though. caught a movie at the UV theater--pretty ghetto, thick musty smell in the theater, but nice movie--Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. ended up chatting outside trogro for about an hour maybe : ) nice. gotta buy a trojan hoodie like his. : )

more homework piling in though.

still thinking of where to go for thanksgiving. very inclined to heading back to Ann Arbor for some time with old friends who aren't going anywhere. It'd be great : )

what an eventful weekend in bean town. friends, family, fun.

quite something, this week and the previous. Have to change my driver's license to the Californian one. Cited for not having a front license plate. 2 midterms tomorrow. Have to work on the term project for Thursday.
